Is TapRoots free?
Yes. Caring for your plants, tracking propagation, and swapping cuttings with neighbours is free. Optional premium features may arrive later.
Where is TapRoots available?
We launch first in Amsterdam, then roll out city by city. Community features (the neighbourhood swap map) open one city at a time. Plant management works everywhere from day one.
Do I need to know plant names to use it?
No. Add a plant, snap a photo, and TapRoots builds a calm care schedule. It only ever shows you what's actually due today.
How does swapping cuttings work?
When a cutting roots, offer it free, for a swap, or a few euros. Neighbours nearby see it on a map and arrange a hand-off.
My city isn't open yet — what can I do?
Sign up and join the waitlist for your city. The more requests we see, the sooner we open it. Plant care, propagation tracking, and your private garden all work today.
How do you handle my data?
Your plant data is yours. We never sell it. Location is used only to show nearby listings and is never shared at street precision with strangers.
